What it is
New York photographer Nev Schulman, filmed by his brother Ariel and their friend Henry Joost, begins an online friendship with a Michigan family after a young girl sends him paintings of his photos, and soon a romance with her older half-sister Megan. When details stop adding up, the three drive to Michigan to find out who Nev has really been talking to.
