The Truman Show
Everyone loved watching him. Nobody asked if he wanted to be watched.
Who it's for
It is a warm, funny film with a quietly uncomfortable question underneath: the audience inside the movie loves Truman, and that love is exactly what keeps him trapped.

Truman Burbank has lived his whole life in the sunny seaside town of Seahaven without knowing it is a giant soundstage and that he is the unwitting star of a 24-hour reality show watched around the world. Everyone he knows, including his wife and best friend, is an actor.
