What it is

"Tiny Dictator" is a 2024 single by British singer-songwriter Sophie May, based on her own experiences with OCD. May has said she wrote it during "a really, really awful time with my OCD and intrusive thoughts," as a way of "flipping a situation that felt really bad," and that she wanted a chance to talk openly about an illness she calls one of the most isolating.
