What it is
Built entirely from archival footage and audio, including newly discovered 70mm film from the National Archives, Apollo 11 follows the 1969 Moon mission from rollout and launch to the landing, the moonwalk and splashdown. There is no narrator and no talking-head interviews; the story plays out in the voices of mission control, the astronauts and broadcasters of the time.
