What it is

"Volver" is a tango composed by Carlos Gardel with lyrics by Alfredo Le Pera, sung by Gardel in the film El día que me quieras, a few months before his death. The song is about a man who is apprehensive about returning, years later, to the place of his first love. It has since been recorded by many artists and is sung in Pedro Almodóvar's 2006 film Volver.
