What it is
"Glory Days" is a song from Bruce Springsteen's album Born in the U.S.A. (1984), released as its fifth single in May 1985. The narrator looks back wistfully on his own youthful glory and that of people he knew in high school. The first verse draws on Springsteen's 1973 encounter with a former Little League teammate.
