Listen to this when
smiling faces sometimes... 😏
The Undisputed Truth warn that people who act friendly may be the ones to betray you.
"Smiling Faces Sometimes" was written by Norman Whitfield and Barrett Strong and first recorded by The Temptations; Whitfield then produced The Undisputed Truth's 1971 version, included on the group's self-titled debut album, which reached No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song is about friends who betray others behind their backs and warns listeners not to be fooled by friendly gestures.
