Nancy Sinatra tells a cheating partner she's done putting up with it.
"These Boots Are Made for Walkin'" was written by Lee Hazlewood and recorded by Nancy Sinatra, released as a single in December 1965 and included on her 1966 album Boots. In this folk-rock song, a woman tells her cheating boyfriend that she will no longer let him push her around, which made it a well-known kiss-off anthem. It reached No. 1 in the US and the UK in early 1966.
