Rodney Atkins sings about a father who notices his young son imitating him and decides to be a better role model.
"Watching You" is a 2006 country song by Rodney Atkins from his album If You're Going Through Hell, written by Atkins, Steve Dean and Brian Gene White. A father realizes his young son learns by copying him: in one scene the boy repeats a swear word after his dad brakes suddenly, and in another he prays the way his father does.
