"Friends" is a 1984 hip-hop single by Whodini from their second album, Escape, on Jive Records, produced by Larry Smith. The song is skeptical about friendship: it argues that true friends are rare and that people should be wary of those who only seem like friends. It makes the point mostly through short stories about people let down by those they trusted.
