What it is
"Love Lockdown" is the lead single from Kanye West's fourth studio album, 808s & Heartbreak, released digitally on September 18, 2008. West sings the whole song through Auto-Tune, with no rapping. Its introspective lyrics deal with the aftermath of a failed relationship, as the narrator weighs whether to stay or leave and moves on from someone he loves to protect his own heart.
