What it is
"The Lazy Song" is by Bruno Mars, from his debut album Doo-Wops & Hooligans (2010), and was written by Mars, Philip Lawrence, Ari Levine and K'naan. It was released as the album's third single in February 2011. The song celebrates relaxing and doing nothing on a day off, and the idea came from the writers feeling burned out and not wanting to work while hanging around the studio.
