What it is
"Baby Mama" is an R&B song by Fantasia from her debut album Free Yourself (2004), released as the album's second single in February 2005. The title takes the slang term "baby mama," and Fantasia said she dedicated the song to single mothers who raise their children while working multiple jobs and going to school. It samples The Chi-Lites' "There Will Never Be Any Peace."
