What it is

"Doing the Right Thing" is a song by the British band Daughter from their 2016 album Not to Disappear, released as a promotional single in September 2015. It looks at aging and the slow mental decline of an elderly narrator who does not realise it is happening; lyricist Elena Tonra first meant it as a tribute to her grandmother's cognitive decline.
