What it is
"Gasoline" is an electropop song by Halsey, written with producer Lido and released in August 2015 on the deluxe edition of her debut album Badlands. It draws on Halsey's experiences with her mental health and her sense of being out of step with society. She described it as a self-aware summary of the album, something she felt the record was missing.
