What it is
"The Way I Am" is a song by Eminem, released in 2000 as the second single from The Marshall Mathers LP, which he wrote and produced himself. He wrote it about the downside of fame: fans harassing him so he cannot live a normal life, and pressure to top his earlier work and give his label another hit.
