Feelings it meets
What it is
"Nervous" is a 2018 song from Shawn Mendes' self-titled third album, written by Mendes with Julia Michaels and Scott Harris. It is about getting butterflies and becoming flustered around someone you are attracted to. Mendes said he found it funny that the track sounds smooth and confident even though its subject is nervousness, calling the contrast a cool juxtaposition.
