Who it's for
This training montage song is about the macho ideal of becoming 'a man', yet in the film it's Mulan, a woman in disguise, who meets the challenge best.

What it is
"I'll Make a Man Out of You" is an up-tempo military-style song from Disney's Mulan (1998), written by Matthew Wilder and David Zippel. Donny Osmond sings it as Captain Li Shang during a training montage in which he tries to turn inexperienced recruits into soldiers, while Mulan is secretly a woman in disguise.
