"Liability" is a song by Lorde, written with Jack Antonoff, from her 2017 second album Melodrama. It was released in March 2017 as the album's first promotional single. Lorde said it came from a night when she was overcome with emotion and from feeling that she was too much for someone. She described writing it as therapeutic.
