What it is
"Mad Hatter" is the closing track of the standard edition of Melanie Martinez's 2015 concept album Cry Baby, which follows a fictional character of the same name. The song uses Alice in Wonderland imagery, casting Martinez as the Mad Hatter, and embraces being called crazy, siding with the unconventional against pressure to be normal.
