Nobody is just their worst day. Ear Hustle lets people inside tell the rest of the story.
The show is made with people living inside, so listeners hear incarcerated people describe their days in their own words rather than through a crime-story lens.
Ear Hustle is a Radiotopia/PRX documentary podcast that began in 2017 and was the first podcast made entirely inside a prison, at San Quentin State Prison. It was co-created by Nigel Poor, a Bay Area visual artist who volunteered at the prison, and Earlonne Woods and Antwan Williams, who were incarcerated there.
