No drums. No words. Just an hour of music built in a cave in Ecuador. Lie down, press play and let your problems get smaller.
Who it's for
Hopkins built the album with no beats and not a single drum, closer to a symphony, after a 2018 expedition to Ecuador's Tayos Caves, with field recordings from the caves woven in.

What it is
Music for Psychedelic Therapy is the sixth studio album by English electronic producer Jon Hopkins, released by Domino in November 2021. It is entirely beatless, with no drums, and includes field recordings Hopkins made deep in Cueva de los Tayos in Ecuador, which give three of its tracks their titles. Hopkins had earlier composed music for a psilocybin trial at Imperial College London.
