Listen to this when
It's 2 AM and your mind won't stop. Pause. Just breathe. 🌙 #Breathe2AM
The chorus returns again and again to the simple act of breathing, a basic grounding cue that listeners can actually follow while the song plays.
"Breathe (2 AM)" is Anna Nalick's debut single, which she wrote and sang, produced by Eric Rosse, Brad Smith and Christopher Thorn and released in November 2004 from the album Wreck of the Day. Its verses follow three characters: a friend stuck in an unhappy relationship, a soldier struggling with alcohol, and the narrator herself writing and performing a song.
