If they don't want tea, don't make them drink tea. If they're asleep, definitely don't. It really is that simple. ☕
Consent conversations often stall on awkwardness or 'grey areas'.
A short animated video by Blue Seat Studios, written by Emmeline May and illustrated by Rachel Brian, that explains sexual consent by comparing it to offering someone a cup of tea. It works through everyday scenarios: you don't force someone to drink tea they don't want, you don't make an unconscious person drink tea, and someone who wanted tea before, or who isn't sure, hasn't agreed to drink it now.
